I had a fantastic time taking part in the “Sky Arts Landscape Painter of the year” television series this July. We had fantastic weather, breathtaking scenery and I shared a great experience with some lovely arty people, judges and film crew included.

The filming took place at Wray Castle in the lake District, Cumbria, overlooking Lake Windermere. Definitely somewhere I would like to visit again and paint. At the end of the 4 hours, this is what I ended up with…
